Allstate made some waves to accompany their Chicago OOH program.  The advertiser purchased a rooftop unit on the famous six-corner intersection of Western, Elston and Diversey. This spot is well known inChicagofor slow traffic and inevitable gridlock.  The bulletin featured the brand famous ‘Mayhem inviting drivers to listen to Mayhem Radio while stuck in traffic.



The radio spots, once again, featured the famous voice of Mayhem, wittily reminding listeners that mayhem is everywhere – specifically at the intersection where the unit is located.  Mayhem reported on the monotonous traffic as drivers were just looking for a shortcut to avoid the Kennedy Expressway, and instead got stuck at the six-corner jam. He discussed the blockbuster movie at the movie theatre down the street; checked in with the martial arts school next door, and more!



This very strategic campaign targeted the specific corner and its drivers and created a multi-sensory experience – combining the visual of the bulletin and the audio of the radio broadcast.
